DEPOSIT: – The hirer shall leave either a pre authorised deposit or debited deposit using debit or credit card prior to the commencement of the period of the hire for the full amount of the deposit specified in the schedule. The owner shall without prejudice to his other rights against the hirer) be at liberty to retain out of such deposit:
1. The first portion of any damage or loss which the hirer undertakes to be responsible for negligence as set out in the schedule.
2. The amount of any loss of damage for which the hirer is responsible under the provisions of clause 7 hereto.
3. Any additional charge payable under clause 3 hereto.

FREE KILOMETRES + Excess KM charges:- Most hires are supplied with kilometre limits you can drive free of charge during your hire. The amount of free kilometres usually depends on how much your total spend is on that hire and the duration of the hire. This policy is in place to keep the hire charges low as we believe the free KMS provided are adequate for most holidays. Your free limit will be listed on your rental contract and/or your check out sheet. We do offer extra kilometre or mileage packages in our options list. By default you will be given 100 free kilometres for every £100 you spend on hiring the motorhome. This is calculated on the hire charge so any optional extras you book will not accrue extra free mileage.
